    Description

    Hard to find Mason jar embossed "Mason's Patent" only.
    This jar has no date embossed, as is the case with other Mason' s Patent jars.
    The bottom is embossed "5".
    Porcelain lined zinc cap stamped "Genuine Boyd Cap for Mason jars".
    Lots of bubbles and straw marks in the glass.
    The rim has bubbles as well.
    I feel two small chips on the rim.  Bubbles in the glass make it appear like more, but the "touch test" is revealing two. Once I started taking photos, I noticed under the lights, a hairline fracture on the rim. (see last three photos for closeups of chips, bubbles and fracture on the rim.)
