    I have listed for auction an ORIGINAL SHOULDER SEAL SWAYZEE GLASS MANUFACTURING COMPANY LIGHT YELLOW OLIVE GREEN IMPROVED MASON QUART SIZED FRUIT JAR made 1894-1906!  This JAR has
    NO
    DAMAGE
    LIKE CRACKS or ISSUES THAT WOULD GREATLY AFFECT IT'S USE & VALUE.
    It has the MOLD NUMBER "17" on the BASE.  This is a RED BOOK NUMBER 2780-1 and it comes with a BALL ZINC LID & JAR RUBBER.
    It has been over 100 years since these were made and only God knows how many have been lost in Floods, Tornadoes and Hurricanes or shot by kids with BB-Guns.  This is YOUR chance to ENHANCE your collection!  This jar has the standard glass hairs from hot strings of glass that fell on the jar when removed from the mold or they could have formed when cooling.  This is a common trait of SWAYZEE'S IMPROVED MASONS.  The BALL BROTHER'S GLASS COMPANY bought the SWAYZEE GLASS COMPANY in 1906 and continued operations for a short time.
